Dikeledi Skonyela is a resilient leader, diamond polisher and entrepreneur with a passion for inclusivity and community development. Formerly an artisanal miner (‘zama zama’), she qualified as a diamond brillianteer and evaluator in 2018. She represented South Africa at the China International Import Expo (2023) and won the Presidential Award for Breaking Ground SMME of the Year (2024). Since 2023, she has served as Chairperson of KDJI SMMEs.
